The Freedom Trail Foundation is a fifty year old non profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Boston's distinct historic character and its important role in the American Revolution. The Freedom Trail, known by its red line, leads visitors to 16 nationally significant historic sites, including the Old North Church.
   
   

 

Harborfest is a weeklong celebration of Boston's colonial and maritime histories. Including reenactments, concerts, and tours, the week leading up to July 4th is always jam packed with as many at 200 events per day, some of which take place at the Old North Church.  
   
   

 

iBoston.org is a free source for detailed information about Boston's history and architecture. The site is an online companion to a series of walking tours throughout in Boston. It also provides a "this day in Boston History" feature, and includes little known facts about sites, including the Old North Church.
   
   
  For more than two centuries the Mass Historical Society has been collecting and preserving materials relating to the history of our commonwealth and our nation. The holdings of the MHS encompass millions of rare and unique documents and artifacts vital to the study of American history, including those of the Old North Church.
     
     
  Boston By Foot is a nonprofit educational corporation founded in 1976, the year of America's Bicentennial. Its mission is to promote public awareness of Boston's rich architectural heritage, and does so through unique walking tours of historic Boston landmarks, including the Old North Church.
