Primary, secondary, and college school groups are always welcome to visit Old North Church any day at any time without reservations. We do appreciate a donation of $1 per person for student groups visiting the church only. You do NOT need to make a reservation if your group is simply visiting the church.
However, if you would like a more meaningful educational experience for your students, you’ve come to the right page! The Old North currently offers four different ways to engage your students beyond the typical church visit! Please click on the options below to read more about our on-site school programs.
Behind-the-Scenes Tours for School Groups (grades 5 and up)
A History Mystery: Who Hung the Lanterns at the Old North Church? (grades 3-5)
Aesthetic Appeal: Anglican Art & Architecture (grades 9 – college)
Sacred Seats: Social Implications of Colonial Church Seating (grades 9-12)
If you have any questions about the programs or if you’d like to create a tailored experience for your class, pleace contact our Director of Education at 617-858-8231 ext. 106. We are happy to work with you to create the ultimate visit for your students!
