For nearly 250 years, Old North has stood as a beacon of bravery, determination, and hope in the face of challenging times. Because of COVID-19, the gates to our iconic site have been closed to visitors since March 14 and will remain closed for the foreseeable future. As a result, we face a critical funding shortfall that challenges our ability to continue the programming, visitor experience, and preservation that this national historic site deserves.
By providing a charitable donation to Old North today, you will be affirming one of our country’s most valuable and active monuments to the resiliency, initiative, and tenacity of the American spirit. When this crisis ends, and we are able to gather together once again, this monument will stand to remind us of our resolve to overcome adversity.
Here are a two ways to give:
- Make a recurring gift — just $8 per month covers the cost of one visitor admission per month during the duration of our closure
- Make a one-time gift — a gift in any amount today helps us offset ongoing operational costs like utility bills, staff wages, and critical professional services
We understand that our critical need is one of many you may be considering at this crucial time. We are truly grateful for your support at any level — every dollar will be dedicated to maintaining our site and preparing to re-open to visitors as soon as it is safe to do so. It is together that we will endure, as Old North always has.
