Health and Safety Guidelines for Visitors
The Old North Church & Historic Site is committed to bringing you the best experience possible while continuing to follow health and safety guidelines. We reserve the right to refuse admission or ask visitors to leave if they do not follow the City of Boston’s guidelines.
Proof of Vaccination
Beginning January 15, 2022, visitors are required to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 to enter certain indoor spaces in Boston, including all museums.
The requirement is age-dependent and will be phased in over time:
January 15: People age 12+ must show proof of one dose of vaccine
February 15: People age 12+ must show proof of full vaccination
March 1: Children age 5-11 must show proof of one dose of vaccine; People age 12+ must show full proof of vaccination
May 1: People age 5+ must show proof of full vaccination
Please note that K-12 school field trips are exempt from these requirements.
Vaccination verification can be done with:
- a CDC vaccination card
- a digital image of your CDC card
- an image of any official immunization record, or
- the City of Boston B Together app or any other COVID vaccine verification app.

Sickness
If anyone in your party is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, or if you believe you may have been exposed to the virus, please do not visit at this time.
Masks
We continue to require masks for everyone inside the church, crypt, and gift shop.
